TESSELATE: Origins is the prequel to TESSELATE. Origins returns to the platforming gameplay of TESSELATE while further exploring the vaporwave theme, visually and musically. Featuring original music by VINDROID. Inspired by vaporwave and first-person bunny-hop courses.
TESSELATE: Origins is a tribute game to the growth of the Benildean Game Development course through throughout the past 10 years. The mountain the player climbs represents the many challenges the community has faced in pursuing its goal of being the top school for game dev education in the Philippines.
TESSELATE: Origins is Team Theta's submission to the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde Game Design and Development Course's 10th Anniversary Celebration "Level X: Mini-Game Jam" held on September 9-12, 2019; where it won the "People's Choice Award".
